Hosted by sisters Claudia and Giselle, you'll join us in one of our welcoming North London kitchens to discover three of Britain's best-loved afternoon tea classics using the family recipes we grew up with.
Step into one of our welcoming North London kitchens and discover three of Britain's best-loved afternoon tea classics in a relaxed, hands-on baking experience.
We'll begin with a welcome drink before tying on aprons and baking together in a small group. Along the way, you'll learn the techniques behind beautifully light, buttery scones, discover why homemade lemon curd; a rich, intensely lemony spread, has been cherished at teatime for generations, and make traditional crumpets with their signature little holes that soak up melting butter, jam and other delicious toppings.
Once everything is ready, we'll gather around the kitchen table to enjoy everything you've made with jam, clotted cream and a pot of English tea.
Whether you're travelling solo, with friends, family or as a couple, this is a warm, sociable experience where you'll learn new skills, share great conversation and enjoy authentic British hospitality. Our small groups mean there's plenty of opportunity to ask questions, and you'll leave with all the recipes so you can recreate everything at home.
